There is also the east lancs A580 if you're heading not Salford

Leave 06:30 first couple of days then edge it up from there you will be ok but find suddenly traffic wallops in l know l am on that strip of road ... one minuite nothing suddenly blocked. If the 62 is blocked look at going up to the airport M56 part and head downwards to your point from there it actually doesnt add much time on ... Tom quite often routes me that way.

if you can get a satnav l love Tom and have traffic updates on it will make your life so much easier. Tom has updates every 2 mins much more than any of the others.

Not a great time to be travelling into manchetser to be fair. Also depends which part of Manchester you're travelling to.

Where you traveling from and to??
