pretty sure a lot of companies would have you believe anything is carcinogenic these days, especially if it means that it just so happens to be in their rivals product...i'm sure a lot of it probably is if you drank it/bathed in it

exactly - and what they dont tell you is that PHMB is contained in a large percentage of cosmetics, wound dressings, and baby wipes among other things

Could not agree more sal. I was at BSAVA this year, I had one disinfectant company promoting their product on evidence of it's properties, and I rival slagging off the first one including the 'carcinogenic' claim. I know who I use!

I am guessing you have had a call from one of the reps dissing a rivals product? - I wish all these companies would pack it in and sell their product on its own merits rather than slating a rivals product - its getting on my nerves. I am getting to be quite rude with these callers now, there seems to have been a whole rash of them lately and they seem to have homed in on here as well
