I have had a reply and the plan is to answer the questions they received and for the anonymous ones on the evening the plan is to put a blog post on the webinar vet website.

was quite faint for me to begin with then improved - was a bit crackly in places. Dont know how many questions submitted didnt get answered? Would be good to see a full list of the questions submitted. Its a good idea but could be better I think there is the potential for this to be really good

It started quite faint sound as they were all sharing 1 microphone. It was improved when they were told and handed microphone around. I thought it was interesting. I hadn't realised it was both vets & vn's so shame couldn't be more of a debate on one topic but think RCVS came across well. They said session was recorded so you should be able to listen to what you missed

How did you find it?, i struggled initially i couldnt load it so missed 1st hr then i could only hear the 1 speaker the others were to faint. plus it kept breaking up.

was it just my computer?

Q1 Which style /type of practice benefits best from nurses trained under the current system. Would serious review involving a representative cross section of vets and nurses from different styles/types of practice across the country help to determine a clearer vision of what is needed and wanted, rather than what has been decided by a small groupof people on our behalf?

Q2 In future is there any possibility that the greater part of VN council business could be conducted through web meetings? I feel this could encourage people who otherwise would have no possibility of involvement, through constraints of time, staffing, location, etc to take part.

Q3 How will the VN council make themselves more accessible and representative of all nursing staff?

I hope if there are any people signed up to this who haven't yet voted in the VN Council elections that this will inspire you to vote. Afterall, if you are doing this then you must care :) Only 2 days left and all details and manifesto's of all 4 candidates can be found on RCVS website
