does it really matter so long as they are dry clean and hair free?

[/quote]

My thoughts exactly.

The only reason I requested any info was a couple of staff are really anti dryer as a previous nurse had told them to line dry only. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything negative in reg to tumble drying.

Thanks for the replies

Re: Preferred method of drying surgical drapes?

does it really matter so long as they are dry clean and hair free?

Re: Preferred method of drying surgical drapes?

Thanks Julie-Ann,

I currently tumble dry and lint but would like to know if there is any preference on tumble drying vs outside line drying? At the moment I am the only one in the practice that tumble drys the drapes and scrubs. As it has been a while since my college days and at previous clinics we have only had disposable it would be good if there is any info out there on the preferred method for surgical drapes.
