Thanks for your advice guys. I will get it sorted!

Had a look on tinternet before and remembered that I used to be on Minocycline for my zits when I was a teenager... (Ah those were the days!) One of the side effects is photosensitivity, so i'm wondering if that has something to do with it?

I'll get to the docs though.

I would see Dr and prearrangwe an appointment with a dermatologist or by the time you get there it will be gone. I learnt this the hard way, the dermatologist was angry with the dr for messing me around like he did for 6months and not sending me immediatly.

I have instructions now if it flares my Dr has to send me immediatly back to the dermatologist as per arrangement so far thought touch wood 5years no reflare.

Erm, not really. Apart from my previous mood swings, which seem to be settling a bit now i've come off my stupid pill!

The rash is getting better too, so i'll wait til it flares up again and then get to the docs.

Ask the doc for a referal to a dermatologist. I've had pretty much every type of eczema going!! Got given every type of cream under the sun. Best thing i did though was get referred.

Katy I would ask for a referral to a dermotologist if it were me. Sounds like some sort of sun poisoning sort of. Like a heat rash/hives. You could have an allergy to the UV light. Some people have light sensitive skin. Dunno though. Do you put anything like lotion on before you go out in the day that could be reacting with the heat? I have allergies to parabens and some sunscreens and I get welts and pimples from it. Not plesant so i feel for you! Deffo get an appointment with a specialist.

Katy I would go to the docs with that, especially if it is happening with sun exposure. Make sure you mention that fact as well.

Seems as though it concentrates on areas where the skin his thicker - elbows/knees. Only the usual things spring to mind - eczema/psoriasis/dermatitis. Has the doc offered any suggestions at all?
