Ditto, also we clean the top where the pipette goes with a cotton bud and surgical spirit.

The pipette part needs disconnecting and flushing through with small amount bleach then thoroughly rinse. Both squirted with syringe. This is what my head nurse told me to do, not sure what others do. Should be ok after this, or could call idexx for advice. Good luck
