I'm trying to think of a suitable way for my practice's reception area to be split so there is a section for cats only. The layout of it means that there are always going to be dogs passing on their way to the weighing scales and the consult

Re: Separate cat waiting area

That looks pretty much like what I had in mind. Thanks for the link.

Re: Separate cat waiting area

We have one like this

in one of our consulting rooms to screen off the xray machine when we're consulting. They're good because they go almost to the ground (it would be difficult for a dog to get its nose underneath!) and they are wipe clean. I can't remember where we got ours from, but it is very similar to this - it folds away neatly when not in use and they come in lots of different colours.

Re: Separate cat waiting area

Thanks for that. It is something we thought of but I suppose it depends on the demand for appointments from cat owners versus dog owners!

Re: Separate cat waiting area

How about different consulting times for cats and dogs? I know, not always possible/pracitical but is another solution to splitting the waiting room?
