Place dispensing label correctly on container and the regulation and legislation bit. The asking a vet is not an instant fail so you will be ok :)
Even though checking the sheet it's not a fail for not competing the dispensing label but I am sure when I worked out the dosage I just put 2 tablets daily instead of 1 tablet 2 x daily :( oh well!

I think you will be fine with the needle task did you put a fresh needle on the syringe after you had drawn p the vetergesic without resheating? If yes you will be fine :)

Resheathed needle they are referring this to after you have drawn up the vetergesic you have taken the needle of using the sharps bin or forceps and haven't used your fingers etc.
the X-ray task the instant fail states '' correct centring and collimation''
Getting the vet to sign is not an instant fail just get marked down. Which I find very odd!!
But it states '' regulation and legislation to the provision of medication complied with is an instant fail.

Don't get what they mean by this?

Bandaging it is an instant fail if the bandage is applied to the wrong foot. :(

There's potential to have failed the vetergesic inj as I wasn't very safe as forgot to swab the injection port so got a swab whilst holding a unsheathed needle doh! Lol. Then with the PVC task i forgot to screw on the lid and did it quickly before time ran out and the dispensing meds I did everything except getting the examiner to check which I'm guessing is a direct fail. It's going to be a close one was so nerve wracking! I agree about the gloves I wasted so much time facing with them. The tablet one I was so nervous I thought I had def failed as I had to write instructions on aswell but you just had to fill in the boxes. I put the right quantity and mg of tablets but. Am sure I put the wrong instructions. It was supposed to be 1 tablet twice a day and I am sure I put 2 tablets twice a day.
The X-ray machine did you find didn't collimated on the whole of the plate?
The gown was huge lol! But I managed to get my gloves on all ok and I am pretty sure I remained all sterile.
The time went so quick that I didn't quite manage to set my drip rate to 1:5 it was more like 1:6 1:7 so thats prob a fail!
Ran out if time on my bandage task just as i cut the co flex so god knows if my bandage was too tight or to loose. If the examiner felt this then that's a fail!
The most frustrating thing is on the urinary catheter task I discarded of the urine in the jug rather than the clinical waste bin! Done everything else perfect even the WHO technique! I am sure this is a fail.
Just a waiting game now
Why do you feel you failed X-ray and tablet task? Did you manage to glove and gown in the end. The examiner for that task is the lady who owns the college that I used to go to. She is lovely.
Sure I will be Retaking. If I do at least I hopefully will be taking them at my old college MYF which is not far from home :)

Re: Anyone doing there practicals 22nd-23rd March

I did mine at plumton today, it was horrible defiantly messed up X-ray and anesthetic.
