I went into teaching for 8 years, gained a Certificate in Education and then decided to do a veterinary physio qual. I now run my own company which is great!

A lot of vns I know have left and became radiographers, nurses and ODP's in the human sector as lots of skills gained as a VN are transferable.

Hi, I just wondered if you have left nursing and if so what you are doing now? I also want to leave the profession and am in the same boat now. I am struggling to find jobs that I qualify for with a vn qualification

Have you thought about going into Industry as a rep? I enjoyed my 3 years although it was a steep learning curve it meant i was still involved in the profession

teaching, lab work, conservation, zoo / farm work, working at a stables, pet shop, get into training / behaviour work, grooming, dog walking ??
