Until then I'm looking for some basic starting off books to do with Vet Nursing, Instrumentation, Anesthesia etc

Re: Good starting off books?

I agree with the other posts BSAVA textbook - look for a secondhand one on ebay, and the Aspinall Anatomy and physiology book is excellent. Although if you've not started studying yet I would strongly recommend getting a medical terminology book and getting familiar with the terms before your course starts, I did a human medical terminology qualification and can't rate it highly enough!

Re: Good starting off books?

I have found BSAVA veterinary nursing and Victoria Aspinall complete textbook of veterinary nursing really helpful particularly the later for info on horses and exotics.
