There are a few free tutorials on www.ecpd-vetnurse.com and there are loads of other tutorials to choose from £10 for a 30 minute lecture and £20 for an hour. Most have course notes available too.

ONCORE have a free online module which you can gain a 2 hour CPD certificate for completing.

It's on the topic of reflection on a critical incident, which is a really useful and generic skill to have.

Abbott also has some online courses anaesthesia, diabetes and fluid therapy. Accessed from the US site just register at the site and they are accessible.

There used to be a caninsulin diabetes adviser course aswell and you can also do one for renal failure in cats linked with renalzin... might be contacting some of your reps to see if there are any we don't know about or that might be more relevant to your practice

Bayer have something called "its a jungle" and is for both clients and vet staff. if you are an SQP this counts towards your SQP points too.

I think most companies offer a lot of webinars. I am sure there was one advertised in the last . VN Times (sorry can;t remember though what it was!)

Have you used the new RCVS on line cpd log? It is really easy and gives a list of all the things you can class as CPD - makes it easier than you thinkg to get the hours you need

Hills do free online nutrition courses. IDEXX also do online stuff - is on the main american site but they doing free modules. Have some very good ones which have been very helpful with our inhouse lab.

Keep an eye on webinar vet - they do fantastic webinars. Sometimes they have free webinars on behalf of major companies.

After a very quick search on Vetnurse I found lots of previously suggested links etc. Enter 'Free CPD' in the search engine and see what comes up and suits / is relevant and available...the pickings from this should keep you busy for a while!. As Arlo says, some of the work / reading etc we do on Vetnurse can count as CPD...
