again its not as well known as you think - some yards/individuals know about it and to others it is totally unknown

I think it would be great - if ppl used it. Sensible ppl would, but I can't see the local hoodies putting them on their status dogs. Having said that I doubt there's many ppl silly enough to try and approach them anyway!!!!

Yes, I think it is well known in the horse world about a red ribbon on a kicker's tail. Hopefully the yellow ribbon on the lead will catch on. I was wondering about the colour as well, yellow often symbolising "cowardess", one reason for dogs acting defensive-aggressively (our Chloe does towards some dogs) - something a lot of non-dog ppl don't understand.

If you go to the website there is an A4 poster you can print with tear off slips for clients to take. I think if we advertise it enough in practice it would hopefully become know. It would be good to get into schools and on TV. A lot of people know about the red ribbon on a horses tail (or is that just horsey people?)

Agree with Sal. It reminds me of the Blue Dog program a few years ago. It was a great video to teach children how to read dog body language before it got to growling/biting - but hardly anyone ever heard of it.

I've also not seen the red one, but that would be v confusing! Friends have shared the yellow one on FB - are there posters to put up in practice?

I've seen the same poster but with red. If there are 2 colours kicking about, it'll get hella confusing
