Your results will be out 25th April according to RCVS website so ceremony will be about two month later, so end of June.

Don't hold me to that tho!

And no, ceremonies aren't mandatory but I think a nice way to celebrate at the end, like a graduation. You can, however, just go to the next ceremony if you want, that's what the RCVS said to me anyway :)

I don't think the ceremonies are mandatory (??), so should be okay for holibobs!

I am taking my practicals at the end of march. If I passed would the awards ceremony be in may or June? As I fly out to Cyprus on 2nd June and I would hate to miss it :( Sarah -x-

Ooh, thanks for replying! I phoned the RCVS in the end and although they couldn't say for definite it will 'probably' be in October for the cohort taking practicals in July.

This info might be useful to anyone in the future, invites to ceremonies are usually sent out straight away(after results) then the ceremony is held two months after practical results are published.

So for me that means it'll be slap bang in the middle of a super duper holiday we were planning but hey plans change!
