If that 1ml is definitely for over a 24 hour period then BID would be 0.5ml, yes

I also had to work out some drug calculations and wondered if this was correct.

A 5kg animal requires some baytril 2.5% bid. dose rate is 5mg/kg

so 5x5=25 25/25=1 but the 1 is over a 24 hour period so for a bid dose it would be 0.5, is that correct?

I think i just need to calculate how much it needs per 24hrs and how many drops that would be a second

Sometimes it's worth calculating the total number of hours on fluids, as opposed to just 24 hours. If that's of any use to yer! :-)
