Does anyone have Altro floors in their practice and if so what cleaning regime are you using??
How often do you use the Altro floor cleaner compared to the routine of Trigene or Safe4 cleaning?
Please help, thank you

Re: Floor Cleaning

Hi Susan

You are correct, Trigene has had a name change. It is now called Anistel - it has the same formulation, efficacy etc, just a new name!

If you'd like further information or a sample please do let me know.

Kind regards

As a routine we used Trigene but used altroclean on a twice monthly basis and this was the hands and knees with a scrubbing brush clean. It did make the floor look better for a short time but will add the warning * if scrubbing on your hands and knees altroclean is very caustic* avoid getting your knees wet they can take weeks to heal.

Re: Floor Cleaning

Yes I worked in a practice that had Alto floor cleaning. If it's a new floor then to keep the warrenty the cleaner you have to use is the altroclean - i think that's what it's called? However rubbish for disinfection protocols. So discuss with your boss which is more important.

Most practices I've worked in use Trigene (Possible name change?) or Vetaclean so that they can take advantage or the Parvo protocols. Also most floors are cleaned twice a day depending on use. It really depends on how busy the practice is and what cases you've had that day.
