On a previous thread some fellow nurses and I were voicing our frustration at the state of society these days with so many animals dumped and destroyed whilst clients are pouring through practice doors with shiny new puppies for 1st vaccines

Re: Pro-active nurses required!

It would be great to be involved in this project!
Good luck. One day I would like to see the veterinary nurse as a first port of call for people needing advice when about to get their first pet. Too many people are ignorant of the key responsibilities of owning a pet such as vaccination, insurance, neutering, exercise, suitable diet, training etc.

[/quote]

I agree, I don't understand why people would rather spend a fortune to buy a pet as apposed to adopting when they usually come vaccinated, neutered, trained, etc ?

Anyway, our team is now up to a grand total of 10! Thank you to all you new volunteers, would still like more support though so remember, if you want to get involved and make a real difference, please private message me your email address

Thank you x

Re: Pro-active nurses required!

Good luck.
