a Hairy Bikers haunt one of my favourites is stinking bishop - but not in the house thank you very much, I only buy it when the weather is cold and it can stay outside in the garage in a tupperware safely

have to say I am very pleased with my variation on woolton pie though - I can see I will be making a lot more of it, you dont need that much cheese to make it taste really cheesy

I know the feeling!! And we live near the cheese shop on Nigel Slaters latest show - its too hard to resist!

I am using a 40's cookery book for 3-4 days of the week at the minute with good results, losing a little bit of weight which was the plan and also coming up with some really cheap and tasty meals.Would love to do it all week but I am a bit of a cheese fiend and think I would find it just a bit too difficult to maintain.

I use www.moneysavingexpert.com the Old Style. Good for heads up on offers and cheap recipes.

Also resourcefulrecipes.com and cheap-family-recipes.org help break my recipe habits and make me try new stuff!

some of the stuff on there is exceptionally cheap and some of it you can source elsewhere cheaper. Some stuff is close to sell by some of it isnt. They do seem to have a fast turnover of products so if you check every couple of days you can sometimes light on a good deal. If you can get a few people together who want to order you can cut delivery costs considerably. I eat a lot of rice and pasta and have had some good deals especially the Ainsley Harriot rissoto which normally I wouldnt buy very often because although I like it it is expensive for what it is and I just normally make my own. Handy to have in tho when you just cant be bothered messing about. They seem to do a lot of cook in sauces etc too which again I use a reasonable amount. Some of the cleaning products are very cheap (but again do your own comparison because some of them arent)
