Since OH got playstation 3 connected to internet. All he does it play on it and have a strop if I tell him to turn it off, it is like living with a teenager. He won't communicate with me or do anything else

Re: Men!

Welcome to my world!! Maybe not quite so bad at yours at the moment though!!

My other half is the same. He's just had 6 weeks off work with a broken wrist and spent the whole time on his ps3! I can come into the house from work and he doesnt even notice Ive come in!
Ive been the same as you though, moaned and whinged him, tried going out all the time (he didnt notice!) and tried hiding his games! None of it worked! Fortunately the novelty has worn off slightly and he doenst play on it as much. It is enough though for me to agree to him buying a second telly for it to go in the spare room.

Sorry Im not sure thats the reply you were after, just wanted to let you know you arent the only ps3 widow out there!!

And if all else fails cut the plug off

Re: Men!

Take the fuse out of the plug and dont tell him. and once he has got over his little strop of not getting it to work, point out at how irrational he is being over a computer game, and maybe just maybe he is getting addicted to it and thats not a good thing is it.

Failing that, give it to a charity shop

Re: Men!

"accidently" spill some high quality H20 over that stupid machine! worked for me.....

but really i know how you are feeling, i think you need to sit him down and have a good old chat about the entire situation. let him know how serious things are, that you are thinking about asking him to leave, really Nicky if it is a case of him choosing a computer game over you, you have to ask yourself is this really what you want? now i know some ppl may become addicted to these games but .....you only get one chance at this life game and you need to be able to look back and be happy!!

oh i hope the sod gets a grip on life a wee bit....
