CPD talk

Hi all

I currently work in a referral practice and train student vet nurses.

I have been asked to provide a CPD talk by my boss but i'm not sure what subject to make it!

I'm not a specialist nurse in any particular topic, I have a general

Re: Topics ideas if possible? Mebbe too wordy! Erm, what about 'Parties and Paperwork' ??

I am certain you are very skilled at managing your own time, yes? I know from personal experience that when I was studying I got so stressed out I needed certifying... When I had a study-time wall chart with allocated slots each week for guilt-free 'me' time, I was on a roll and much happier., certainly more productive as I was taking proper 'rest-breaks'. No panics. Bliss.

Anyhoo - just an idea. Bin it or bless it - over to you!

I'm just struggling to think of a subject for this one.

I would like to get bums on seats so I'd like to make it relevant to most nurses, and I will aim to make it fun if I can.

Sorry I should have put that on the thread!

Re: Topics ideas if possible? Don't aim for more than 30-45 minutes if this is your very first talk; leave them wanting more. Find out what your nurses would like to improve in practice and 'give it to them'. :)

Re: Topics ideas if possible?
