Although its a pub it is a busy hotel as well with caravan spaces etc. Its in a rural area so a car is essential but there are some great walks nearby. Sandringham Castle is about 20 minutes away with fantastic walks for dogs (although you can't go in the gardens with them).

You can take your dog into the pub with you if you want to eat/drink in there and the staff are very nice. The dog friendly rooms are in a separate annexe out of the main building so very handy for letting dogs out for late night toilet breaks!

Re: Doggy Holiday - Where??

Devon, some amazing wslks etc xx

Re: Doggy Holiday - Where??

LOL Mark I have just checked out the canine country club..........Carpos is packing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loads of lovely beaches and some marvellous dog friendly inns, b&b's, hotels etc. If u want to go upmarket, wait til after March when they re-open and stay at Tillmouth Park Hotel in Cornhill-on-Tweed. I love it. My dogs loved it (we stayed in a cottage in the grounds and they had their own back garden to frolick in). It's way out in the middle of the countryside but within 10 miles of the coast and Holy Island and not far from Bamburgh Castle, Berwick on Tweed and just about 3 miles away from the Scottish border. Sunshine? Sometimes!
