In terms of vetpol, you're quite right, the forum activity there is pretty minimal.

Well, www.vetsurgeon.org hasn't been around for anything like as long as www.vetnurse.co.uk. Still, it is starting to get very close to vetnurse.co.uk levels of traffic. For comparison, last month:

VetNurse
Visits: 23,468
Visitors: 8,492
Pageviews: 152,819

VetSurgeon
Visits: 20,367
Visitors: 5,076
Pageviews: 135,264

VetSurgeon.org is really not far behind now!

I have reason to believe that in terms of traffic from the profession (as opposed to passing traffic from members of the public), VetSurgeon.org and VetNurse.co.uk are the leaders by quite a considerable margin (the last time I heard, Vetpol was removed from an industry survey because its traffic levels were too low to count and I suspect that the majority of vetclick's traffic comes from members of the public).

That's because the VN boards are rarely frequented - the vet part of vetsurgeon.org's boards are actually quite a bit busier. There's a free jobs board at www.caw.ac.uk as well.
