I think its way to short notice to make a proper decision so I,m sticking with what I know and thats the RCVS for now.

I've been offered the same opportunity too. I've tried to figure out what to do with my clinical coach seeing as I have a short deadline to reply to my college for...
C+G pros:
Can take exams at college
They're cheaper
Faster results
Can take exams every month if I mess up

RCVS pros:
Can put on my CV that I have an RCVS level 3 diploma
Don't have to faff around swapping everything.

My lecturer was also saying that city and guilds also providing weighting on the exam...so you'd have a rough idea which were the bigger topics to revise for. But if they have physically bought the syllabus then I expect it to be similar to the current RCVS scheme.

Obviously City and Guilds are one of the awarding bodies that have taken over, but also Central Qualifications as well. They seem to be pretty good and have a website explaining everything as well as the CSL, which is their version of the NPL. I have a student who is doing their Level 3 Dip via Central Qualifications - pretty much the same so I presume C&G will be running the qualification relatively the same as well. They have just become the awarding body while the RCVS will still remain the registration body for RVNs.

If city and guilds have taken over the training how come there is nothing to be found online about it or how they are running it or anything. Does anyone have any more information about them??

CIty and Guilds bought the awarding body intellectual property (syllabus, program, question banks) from the RCVS, so as far as exam questions are concerned it's the exact same exam.

Subject wise there's no difference.
