Well good luck doing it! It is stupid the other runs don't do it for men, like you said earlier, men get cancer too!

I want to do a skydive for the hospice that looked after my nan, have applied for an info pack! Found a website that arranges skydives that allow you to raise money for a huge choice of charities.

It's seven years since my Uncle died of oesophageal cancer and have deicded to run the Delamer 10k on 6th Sept!

I've done it! & it only rained for a few min, phew! Did it in 45 min. Didn't manage to run for ages cos there were so many people. Nearly 10,000! We would have run more but the nurse i was doing it with has knee trouble so finds it hard to run for too long. Was great though. Next year we're going to do it together dressed as pigs in tutu's...& do it 3 legged!!! I was a mouse this time, other nurse was a cat. Looking at some peoples back nearly made me cry. I didn't think of my nan too much or i would have been in tears, it's 3 months tomorrow she passed away.

well just to even things up - our Lands End - John o'Groats event next year , all proceeds are split equally down the middle breast cancer awareness / testicular cancer

Well not allowed to do the race for life! Blokes get cancer too you know. Anyways am considering doing a 10k race in september! must be mad. Am gonna get the other male vets at work to do it wit me best get start training
