Badges are one of the new things for 2013 Johanna - we listened to what our first VN members told us and this along with the Formulary App access and legal helpline are some of the things that came out of those conversations. So stay a member in 2013 - and a badge will be yours!

Some of our current members liked the idea of a badge - indicating their membership of a professional body. We of course won't be making badge wearing a condition of membership however.

That is good news Steph - and please do get in touch with Jennie (j.clough@bsava.com) if you have any questions in the future. The 2013 benefits will kick-in second week of January, latest.

Hi Kay, I got an email today with my membership and book receipts which contains my membership number with both of my addresses and I've checked and I can log in online now

Have spoken to my colleagues, and we’d like to extend the offer from BVNA Congress to all our VetNurse.co.uk friends (and their friends too!) – so if you would like to join for 2013 now we will give you 14 months for the price of 12. The increased benefit for package for 2013 won’t kick-in until January (the Apps, legal helpful etc), but you can start accessing the website right away and benefit from discounts on manuals immediately too. You will need to join over the telephone for this to work – 01452 726700, office hours 9-5 Monday to Friday. Hope this is helpful – saves having to remember to do it in the New Year when there are tons of other things to think about.

Hi Anna - we are expanding the VN benefits from 2013, so in January we will be able to let all nurse members have access to the apps and also to the new legal helpline (for vets and VNs).

At BVNA we were offering 14 months for the price of 12 (so starting now and going all the way through to the end of 2013). Though normally we do start the membership year in January, we now also have a Summer plan too - so if for any reason you miss joining then you can join in July and run through to June instead.

I'm still thinking about it too, I have access to the clinics copy of companion as long as I nab it, but a copy for me only is tempting. As is the formulary but I am worried my smart phone won't be able to cope if I put it on there, does anyone know if you can get the app on iPad? I did join at BVNA congress, as the £72 I paid then sees me through till the end of 2013, so no need to renew until 1st Jan 2014 it was plastered all over the info that it was 14 months for the price of 12. I wouldn't have joined otherwise
