I am wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks ?! Books they would recommend to test myself etc ?! I love general nursing but anatomy is my enemy!

Re: Anatomy and physiology revison!

Also you can try and put it into practice onto a real animal - someone I knew used to label their own dog so they saw it in context with the actual animals and that seemed to help them.

If you're in practice then just try and go through little bits each day and get those remembered then move on to another section another day - your colleagues/clinical coach should be able to help you find ways that will help you learn it too

Good luck!

Re: Anatomy and physiology revison!

I don't know anyone who like A & P in their first year but when you get in to your next year it makes a bit more sense. I use to write my own questions and duplicate them several times (not multichoice but descriptive questions). The first time I answered without the books and would see what I got (usually not much) but as I looked up the correct answers I would learn some. Then an hour later I would answer the questions again and repeat filling in the corrections. I would then do the same again the next day.

It was dull and a slog, oh yes there was a day me and a friend used a wall that we were going to paint to put all the A & P together. It was fun but only helps once you know what your talking about.
