I am currently looking for my first job and am both excited and very nervous!! I was just wondering what is it like getting your first proper job? what does the practice expect of you

Re: New Graduate , need some advice :)

Hi, Mychemplan! Good luck! I wrote some CV advice on another topic ( http://www.vetnurse.co.uk/forums/p/17933/131842.aspx#131842 ) but most practices who are hiring new graduates understand that it takes some time to find your feet. Once you get the interview is your chance to present yourself and find out about them as well!

Remember, you're not incompetent; every new grad feels underconfident and if you find a good, supportive practice the only way is up!
