Hi Helen

I wanted to share our great news with you as SQP lectures at BVNA Congress next weekend have been fully approved by AMTRA.

Both Joy Howells and Kirsty Gwynne's lecture have been approved and delegates attending will be accrediated with 6 CPD points per lecture attended.

SQP nurses will simply need to provide their SQP number when registering at the door plus sign in and out of the lectures. This information will then be provided to AMTRA to enable the CPD points to be awarded.

Where abouts are you based? Biction College in Devon are holding an SQP event in October (http://www.vetnurse.co.uk/events/veterinary-cpd/archive/2012/08/24/27-Oct-12-09-00-parasite-management-in-the-dog-and-cat-sqp-cpd.aspx)

Minster Vets have events in York and Nottingham (http://www.minstervets.co.uk/training/sqp_cpd)

Bayer also have accredited SQP CPD on their new Jungle website (http://www.jungleforvets.co.uk/)

Also, as far as I was aware the pharmacy lectures at BVNA by Joy Howell will be accredited unless anything has changed.

Hi Helen

On the small animal side, Virbac have some accredited CPD on "integrated flea control" worth 12 points, but this is only available to groups of SQPs, not one to one I'm afraid!

We have some on the equine side too but presume you're not interested in that.

I'm sorry that your rep wasn't aware of it but I am sure she is looking into it and will get back to you.
