The anaesthesia course mentioned in the VN Times is a 6 month course (6 day courses) held in Coventry between February and July 2013, with Sam McMillan and Emma Archer the speakers (both VTS in Anaesthesia). The whole course is £1000 +vat (£1200), which can be paid in installments, or you can book individual day courses, if the whole course is too much. The course has been approved and accredited by the BVNA and upon completion delegates will received a framed certificate and pin badge to display their achievement in the practice. Unfortunately, there are no 'post nominals' associated with the course...

The BSAVA Veterinary Nurse Merit Awards provide short structured CPD programmes. Each programme consists of a two day course (including a substantial practical component), a follow-up one day course a couple of months later, two webinars, and an online assessment. how about the new BSAVA merit award in anaesthesia? Im not sure how much it costs but could be an option

I have looked at this event but you do a year of cpd and gain no extra qualification. i would love cpd that i had too work towards but that ws not nearly £3000. i simply can not afford it. x

There was a anaesthetic course advertised in this months VN Times - can't remember who with tho. It was on the CPD pages.
