Sorry for the delay in replying, have been feeling pretty yucky with yet another chest infection. I think we're probably ok for cover at the moment thanks as several of my colleagues have come forward and offered to help now it's a different date and closer to home for them but thanks very much and will come back to you if I get stuck again for any reason.

I am on the 14:00-22:00 shift that day. Let me have the details and l will satnav it but should be ok if that is any use, the only thing is l would have to bring Wibble.

Due to my venue being too vague re arrangements for my liking and me struggling to get help, the above is now on Saturday 18th April in Saddleworth. I do already have one or possibly two helpers lined up but if anyone else wants to be involved, please feel free to let me know!

It's opposite Hadfield train station but you'd have to catch one into Manchester from wherever you are and then one from there (takes 45mins from Manchester to Hadfield). Seem to think you're over on the east coast somewhere so probably take you hours!!! Timings not yet confirmed but am guessing 9.30/10am start until lunchtime - just watitng for the guy at the hall to come back to me on that one.

I dont drive - how close is it to a rail station? what is the start and finish times?

It's in Hadfield, just outside of Glossop. It takes me about an hour to Stoke from here if that gives you some bearings.

Thanks Missvetnurse - yours seems to be the standard answer. Think I've been given a duff weekend to do it but it was a case of when the hall was free and I wasn't working myself!

I might be able to help you but it depends on where it is really. I live in North staffordshire and can drive but i wouldn't want to be driving for hours to get to where it is.
