unfortumately u dont get bsava textbooks at discount, only the manuals, tried this myself when I wanted to buy it.. bought it in the end and was just broke for the next month but I use it all the time.

i know it is expensive but it is the "bible" of vet nurses everywhere

if you are going to BSAVA you may be able to get one for free!!!

check out the stands. last year one of the nurses from our practice found a company with a lab analyser for sale. they said if she booked a demo in our practice she would get the book for free! - so she did.

we sat through a 10min demo, as soon as the rep left all the info went in the bin and the practice got the nursing manual for free - BARGIN!

found one on ebay for 45 and i was quoted 60-70 elsewhere so that might be a good idea, and it was brand new

Keep looking Button, one will turn up eventually.

I would definitely recommend getting one though. I bought mine 11 years ago so it is quite old - like me!! and I still refer to it on occasions - even now!!

Hmm I was hoping to find a second hand one but had no luck. I'm guessing that once someones bought it they don't want to part as it's that good....

If you are a BVNA member you get the BSAVA manuals at the BSAVA member pricce (normally saving about £30)

It's a great book you should have a look round for a used one on Amazon or something. Or start a piggy bank for it. :)
