If it is ok then they can practice if not they have to sit an exam. &lt;/p&gt;

There is also a Veterinary Technologist which I think would be the same as the degree training here.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As far as I know, each province or state has their own &amp;quot;regulatory bodies&amp;quot; and to work in a different province or state, a proficiency test must be taken.&lt;/p&gt;
