A few questions here and on the other thread about CPD so shall try to answer them...

If you've been asked to send your CPD records in for the annual audit, then you need to send photocopies of your annual CPD record cards or any other CPD records you have kept - it's not compulsory to use the card. These need to be sent before 20 August please.

If we've asked you to send copies of your records and don't receive them, though, or if your CPD is not sufficient, we may write to you. The audit is randomly generated, although if we've asked you to send a CPD record card and don't receive it, or you appear not to have completed sufficient CPD, we may include you in future audits.

If you're finding it hard to fit your notes on the cards, then definitely have a look at the new online professional development record (PDR) for VNs - www.rcvs.org.uk/education/cpd-for-vns/professional-development-record-for-vns as there is more space on it for notes and you can upload files and help in planning your CPD. All the info from the card is also on the PDR.

Im just sending paper ones & hope it's ok! It says on the letter they just advise you if you have not done enough!

Iv had mine requested to. I have sent three official and one with additional paper. Do they get back to you if all is ok?

I sent 2 offical and 1 sheet of a4 last year and they said fine.
