Yeah, Alison Lambert runs Onswitch. She's extremely enthusiastic when it comes to customer service, and she likes to post a "Mystery shopper of the week" on her Onswitch facebook page. Worth having a look - but she takes no prisoners!

Have a look at the onswitch website, they do a course on a double decker bus that travels the country 'bertha bus'. It covers general customer service/phone skills but is veterinary orientated as the course leader is a vet and offered as a veterinary course. I went on it last year and learnt loads (im an rvn and really enjoyed it but if your a receptionist i guess it would be more valuable). Might not be what you are looking for but thought id mention it anyway :)

Hi, that's right, it was the Certificate by City and Guilds, and they no longer offer the course. We'd love to run it, but because City and Guilds don't accredit it anymore, this particular course isn't available. http://www.animal-job.co.uk/1-a-vet-receptionist-course.html is another course but i do not know anything more about it except that it exists. Hope it helps, sorry for the inconvenience!

I'd like to organize a replacement offering, but this probably won't happen until next year, unfortunately. Kind Regards,
