It says a range of species but if you're working in an average small animals first opinion practice how many exotics are you going to see with the conditions they want covered? Bunny in gut stasis maybe but that's about it and you can't let your students NPL drag out just because you're waiting on the off chance of an unusual exotics case!

Re: SAVN17 NPL

What did anyone do to cover exotics?

Re: SAVN17 NPL

I also used cat flu and otitis for sense organs x

Re: SAVN17 NPL

Thanks for all the help :)

Re: SAVN17 NPL

For your endocrine disorders try looking out for animals in for glucose curves, T4 bloods etc, Alimentary - gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, foreign bodies vomiting diarrhoea etc and disorders of the sense organs - look out for cases of dry eye, blind anmals, opthalmic surgery cases (grid keratotomies etc) ear canal Sx and look out for neuro cases some of these may have secondary problems with sense organs
