The ones provided at work don't fit brilliantly and are quite uncomfortable so I thought I'd buy my own pair (they are reeeeeeally high waisted and very narrow at ankles - I hate them!).
I want some normal

Re: Trousers - where can I get some?

I wear alexandra mens trousers, theyre waist height like normaly trousers lol

Button - are your original trousers the grahame gardner variety? the waist band of mine came right under my boobs and was held up with a belt and the ankles tapered in so much it looked like I was wearing johdpurs

[/quote]

He he - yeah they sound like the ones!!! I wear knee highs and had a massive struggle trying to pull them down yesterday when I got hot - I couldn't budge up my trousers at all as they are tapered in so much - ick.

Saskia - I've not heard of that store before but that doesn't mean we don't have them, will have a look.... Cheers

I'll check out cloister.

I will also ask my boss if black trousers would be ok as I probably have some somewhere and as I'm desperately trying to save some money then that would be a great solution. Thanks guys

Re: Trousers - where can I get some?

I wear "normal" black trousers from Dorothy Perkins at the moment, much more comfy!.

Have you looked in Shops such as Dorothy Perkins, Next, Debenhams etc. I'm sure that normal Navy trousers would be available somewhere.

Otherwise all of the nurses in your practice could try pleading with your boss and allow you to all wear black trousers instead (of which there are many so a good fit for everyone!). They look just as smart as the usual green/navy unifirm type trousers.

Re: Trousers - where can I get some?

I would definitely give Cloister uniforms a try....I can highly recommend their bootleg uniform trousers. Really reasonably priced too. Sorry I dont have the tel no. to hand but you could always google them.

I find them more comfy than Simon Cowell trousers!

Hope this helps!
