As far as I know, I think the RCVS will recognise your qualification as Denmark would recognise mine when I was looking for jobs in Denmark, but obviously there is even more of a shortage than here and Denmark aren't fond of foreigners! And I seemed to be over qualfied for many of the nursing positions in Denmark.

Good luck! My wife moved over from Denmark to be with me here in the UK and she hasn't looked back! There is a huge population of Danes living in London and you can try Medivet, they do have vacancies and always looking for RVNs!

Hiya

I had exactly the same but then in Holland
5 years ago I decided to take the leap and try and work in the UK and 3 weeks later I moved!

5 years on and I'm still in the UK

Check with the RCVS first if your qualification will let you be a Registered Veterinary Nurse here.

I found that the locum (recruitment) agencies were very helpful seeing it only took 3 weeks to get me a lovely permanent job.
And again with the help of recruitment agencies I have just accepted a new awesome permanent job

Took me over 7 months to find a vn job, recruitment agencies were useless and provided no help to me. Even the veteriary proffessional ones. Good luck.

There are more jobs posted on other sites as well; vetsonline.com (recruitment), also try recruiting agencies like carltonprofessional.com. Some colleges have a jobs board too.
