They're taking things slow, there's a LOT of new protocols but a lot of it is to do with till and reception, and I must say a lot of changes proposed I think will have a positive effect in practice. However I'm still shady about working for a corporate company, I just know there's going to be a lot of 'money talk' so I'm just going to wait it out and if it gets to a point where I can't bare the thought of going to work, I'll walk. Give it a chance though, try normally assign people who have dealt with loads of transfers like yours and they should be contactable most of the time! Remember...they're not out to get you they want it to work!

Re: Being taken over by Goddards

yep exactly one year ago next week. We were a private practice with one branch surgery and we were sold to a corporate company!!!

The first few months were tough there is no doubt but now we are doing ok, we know them and they have learnt how we work. I maybe wouldn't have chosen this path but it could be worse. Just make sure your contracts are up to date and take advice before signing new ones (BVNA were very good for me). Just try and stick with it for a while cos it will be tough.

Good luck
