Will be a shock to the system after a 7 yr full time mum break!
They seem like a nice practice and rarely advertise for vacancies.. From experience you'll find you appreciate your kids so much more not being with them 24/7, and it sets a good example to them too, having a mummy that goes to work and has ambition - and poss does a little bit of study too if you're involved in training - my kids have been more inclined to do their homework since I started my degree - and also they've helped more with the housework cos Mum's tired!!. You'll be knackered the first couple of days, but after that you'll find you feel a lot fitter too - win, win, win

Their current nurse has never qualified but now wants to move more on to practice management, and get more in put from a qualified nurse. I will be involved in vn training too so it's going to be a learning curve for me too!

Re: Finally got a job!

I agree that it is a good sign that a practice rarely advertises for new staff. I look at the job pages even though I do not want to change jobs just so that I can take note of which practices look like they have a high staff turnover. I understand that this is not an accurate way of telling which practices are good or bad as putting out regular adverts for new staff could be due to expansion.

Good luck.

Re: Finally got a job!

You must be over the moon - I'm really happy for you
