We used the regular vetaclean not the parvo. Though we did use that once but quiclky got rid after one of our nurses got a nasty chemical burn on her leg when she spilt it (through her trousers!!).

Re: vetaclean

We used to use it for our bowls etc and the middle of the day mop but from what I remember it isnt a disinfectant. I think it is classed as a sanitiser or detergent but not 100% sure. We never used it in sprays as used virkon alongside it for floors, tables, kennels etc.
We changed over to trigene and use that for everything.

Re: vetaclean

its the vetaclean parvo, and yeah, to get the parvo cover its like 40mls to 1 litre, not exactly cost efficient, but im worried if i mention that they`ll want to use the general cleaning dilution rate, which doesnt cover parvo, so like, whats the point in using it in that case, over trigene.

Re: vetaclean

We used to use Vetaclen Natural and I would not, personally, recommend changing to it. I'm not sure about it's use in spray bottles, etc, as we continue to use Virkon, but I would urge someone to investigate the efficacy especially with regards virology. It is fine to use for 'everyday' kennel cleaning, bowls etc, but I could find no evidence of efficacy in isolation areas. Vetaclean Parvo is good but in my experience, not cheap (and don't breathe it in!!). We ended up changing to Safe 4 after a long and arduous process of sifting through data sheets!!

Hope that helps in a small way...
