Thats what I thought of repping, how do you enjoy the job?

I already do regular weekly nights at vets now which sadly doesn't pay particularly well, i earn more in my day job, but thank you for taking the time to reply.

I started working for a pharmaceutical compnay in March. The salary and benefits are brilliant but there is alot of traveling and also evening and weekend work. This is quite common for the reps in my company and I think most of the have older children or a partner who can help.

Sorry, this probably doesnt help you much but I thought it would give you an idea.

How about doing a few vets now shifts a month to boost your money?

What kind of salary are you hoping to earn? 18k? 20k? 25k? or more?

Repping pays the best out of them all i think but like the previous poster said you would probably be expected to work full time and travel quite alot so you would often get home quite late.

Lecturing depends on where you are, the college our students attend is currently advertising for 2 lecturers and i was surprised to see the salary was only 17-23k which is less than i earn in normal practice.

Referral usually pays 20-22k for a normal full time nurse up to 26k for a diploma nurse.

I have a young child and childcare costs me a fortune. I've been lookin into ways to increase my finances also and concluded the best options are referral practices, repping (tho it's a difficult balance due to time travelling and poss time away) and lecturing. I'm currently working two days a week in practice and doing supply lecturing which helps with the finances. Wish you luck and if u think of any other solutions please share x
