me? just mooching along. havnt found a job that wants me for keeps yet. have done a bit of cleaning, and a couple of days on a market stall, seen a few hypno clients (well friends of friends) but am now unemployed. Due surgery on thurs so will prob be signed off for a while anyway (nothing serious). Looking at a few things - including retraining. But sorry folks I am not missing nursing

I can't believe all the good ones are off!! Isn't not that bad, is it??? Am I just to stupid to notice how bad it is???

I think we should start a tally of all of those who leave vet nursing this year and if qualified or trainee. At the end of the year we can tot up just how many people we have lost

Thanx!They were all lovely!we do refer quite a lot up there and have never heard a client complain yet - so can only be good lol!

lol sorry blonde moment hehe - going to east neuk ortho ref practice - complete change from current job so will get to learn so much!

The partners were great when handed my notice in today - really happy for me!

hi yea will depend what it states in your contract- ours in one months notice but if have worked over 5yrs then we have to work one week for every year worked there - i just handed mine in today and cos iv been there 5 yrs iv to give 5wks notice.

Thats a ridiculous amount of notice to give, I think that is to ensure you cant go anywhere else, afterall who is going to employ someone if they have to give 3 months notice

that was a typo on my behalf i meant to ask AM I to give 4 weeks notice!!!!!!!!!! not I AM. Doh!

How typical that i cant find my contract to check.

If you work 2 days a week, then you should give 4 working weeks which would be equal to 8 days but it depends on what your contract states.

hopefully it should go quicker as its only 2 days a week though
