Some people look for years to get a place. Many colleges sign you up an say just get a training placement. Time in practice is almost more important than college time. Colleg backs up and farthers your understanding of what you are doing.

I recommend you do as much work experience/Saturday jobs as you can. A lot of training jobs are word of mouth. Or do a VCA course first to gain experience. Most practices will have a current issue of the VN or Vet times which has a fab job section.
