Bob - I know you said she left when you was both in the first year, but we've had ppl drop of our year because they got employed places at their placements and started the Level 3 instead of finishing the degree. Could this have happened with the girl you know?

Are you sure she isnt married and registered in her married or maiden name?? this does happen

The original post says she's not listed on there so presumably already checked.

I would definitely report it, anonymously if you like, as this has happened so many times with practices not checking up on nurses qualifications. Im sure they would be glad you brougth it to their attention should they find out she isn't qualified. May save them a legal battle in the future

i would hope the RCVS would keep your name out of anything. all you should need to do is call them, explain your concerns and they will know if the perons is on their list. if not, it will be up to them to contact practice or do whatever.

It is important we all work together to make sure our title is protected so something like this should be taken as positive

RCVS should surely respect your privacy in this case and keep your name anonymous. Call them to make an enquiry, wont do any harm, block your number and dont give your name.

Tricky one. You could block your number and say that you're not prepared to give your details for fear of reprisals but suggest that they check her credentials out. If you're nice about it and say that you're just concerned for the welfare of the animals and the practice reputation etc and that if they check her out and there's some mistake on your part, you apologise, I can't see that anyone would know where it had come from, just that the RCVS were making some checks? Sounds very much like the girl I worked with but she's already been done!
