Are they done by the VNs. What checks do you do?Do you give out any samples?
Sorry for lots of questions, we're just going to start doing these and I just need an idea of what you do etc.

Re: Rabbit health checks

[quote user="Michelle Crawford"]

I have uploaded them to our google docs documents section so that all of the team can read them. They are brilliant.

Re: Rabbit health checks

Some good stuff here! :)

The rabbit welfare association are great for information on care and welfare and also have leaflets that you can give out. I have created a practcie care sheet that i give out in a 'goodie' bag to all rabbits having a check. Supreme and excel often provide free sample bags of food, alstoe also do for thier vet only diet. Also included in the 'goodie' bag are leaflets on products/vaccination. Intervet (who make panacur rabbit) have rabbit healthcheck tick sheets - just ring your rep and request one:). Hope all this helps Supreme just had a free webinar covering rabbit and guinea-pig wellness clinics, so that might be worth a view also.

Re: Rabbit health checks

Hi there,

The company that used to be Intervet (is it MSD animal health now?) used to (and poss still do) rabbit health check lists which are useful in going over various points with owners. Also check out the rabbit protocols on the 'Whats new?' section on this site are really useful.
