Im sorry I only just saw this post! Is there anything in particular they still need? My nan just passed away and had some useful things which will otherwise possibly just go to waste, and I am trying to fit two houses into one at the moment as just bought a house with my fiancee, so may have some stuff available, clothes, books, knick knacks, bedding etc. would have to have a clear out (but really need to do that anyway ). Dont want to just send them a load of useless stuff though, so if they need specific stuff then let me know, and I may have it lying around :)

(age l guess)

On saturday l went over to see Robb and co. He too me round to Pauline and the family who had on Friday moved into their house.

My short stay and chat means l got there about 16:00 and didn't leave till about 21:30.They were over the moon. The night before the Rhodesian group had taken round some cupboards and chairs and other items they also paid for their cooker and washing machine. Some one had donated them a fridge.

Their daughter had a friend over for the evening that ended up staying for the night and they were running around screaming, laughing and locking each other out. Pauline said she couldn't remember when she last time heard her daughter laugh and behave like a child and she was almost in trears she was so happy.

Pat (Paulines husband) insisted Wibble on the sofa and sat cuddling her. He was most insulted when l said that she would put hairs on it and l was told to basically button up. While Wibble rolled her eyes at me with that should have kept your mouth shut look.

Pauline and Pat and Robb have asked me to pass on their sincere thanks to everyone who has been so generous, it has been overwhelming for them.

Just a quick update. Pauline and family have had a letter from the council confirming they do have the house. It is a small 2 bedroom flat and they are over the moon, Pauline says a palace is nothing like as special as the new house.

She also asked me to pass on her scincere thanks for all help that everyone has offered they are not rarely stunned to silence but they have been over all the offer. Robb says she has cried several times.

Robb asked me to pass on their effuse thanks he can not get over how wonderful everyone has been offering help. His sister has been worrying about how they will sort anything out even if they have their own house eventually as she has been unable to find a job yet with the wonderful times, they are not able to ask for any state aid as not been here long enough and Pat her husband is not able to do anything because of his disabilities. And the 13year old is at school, although she has actually being transfered to the gifted class and spends 2 days a week at the college.
