I love the idea of cleaning lists, . We have a weekly jobs list and a monthly one, we run only on two nurses, and somehow manage to get all completed.

Would love to see some examples of other dutie lists, to see if there are any areas we can improve on.

I love cleaning, and people say i have ocd, but i know at the end of the day its all clean and tidy .

We have a tick chart on the wall for each week. We also have areas to do, but due to having nearly everyone off sick this week nothing has been done- looks bad on the chart!!!

Hiya,

I suggest trying to give each member of staff delagated jobs which they have to complete by the end of the week for example. It works really well in are practise. My delegated jobs include checking of all ET tubes (inflate cuffs and check for leaks), check crash trolley stock etc.., and cleaning of all oxygen masks. So quite important delegated jobs, but i manage to get them done by the end of the week.

HI Busy Bee, Have you tried to contact your Medichem Rep? They have some really good publications and the rep helped me do an audit on our practices.

We have cleaning tasks for each area which are ticked off once they are done. They get handed in at the end of every month and then we see which area aren't getting done and think of how things can be improved. These meetings are noted and then filed.
