I was tiding up couple months ago and rang my accountants who are charted how long l have to keep my accounts/books for they informed me 5 years. And accounts = check stubs, receipts, invoices, cc receips, bank statements, drivers logs cash up sheets, ni info etc etc anything that can used by the tax department to decide how much you owe them each year or them you (ok ok "them you" was a joke lets face it it never happens)

Da protection = 7yr What do you class as accounts? Cashing up sheets and credit card stubs? I found a huge box of them yesterday. X

Your accounts need to be kept for 5 years

Any idea were I find the time scale, new vets has v little organised system and want to know how far back I have to sort out!!! X
