&lt;p&gt;I think if the practice contribute to Vet CPD then you&amp;#39;d have a really good argument for also receiving something, as &lt;i&gt;all &lt;/i&gt;of now have to adhere to RCVS requirements for minimum CPD...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, if you don&amp;#39;t ask, you don&amp;#39;t get - not many practices will offer money without prompting...&lt;/p&gt;

At my practice before that it was &amp;pound;450 and two days off ( also a charity practice). &lt;p&gt;We get &amp;pound;500 a year which we can use against accom/travel if we want&lt;/p&gt;
