I tried to talk to my boss re new regs, but they are not bothered and said just keep putting everything in clinical as usual! We only have clinical and normal waste bags.

we also have an anatomical waste bag for body parts to go in which are then incinerated at the crematorium. everything else goes in clinical waste or sharps pots.

When we received info about the changes in regulation we got our rep from the company that deals with our waste disposal to come in and discuss it with us, so we could tell them exactly what we were going to need to dispose of and they could tell us where we needed to put it. It made it a lot easier for us as we were really confused by what type of waste some things would be classified as.

We are the same - We put our body parts i.e. uterus, testicles etc into a yellow bag in the freezer which is then incinerated by the crematorium.

We have yellow anatomical waste bags that go in the freezer and collected with bodies, but at my old practice it went in the clinical waste bags (except things like limbs, which went in a yellow box in the freezer)
