Thanks guys - Also we have just been told that the students can now back date three months and six months if its a rare rare case. Anyone else been told this?

The student can use the care plans from their assignments n reference it in the NPL. My college said just pick 4 out of the 7 available. And do just 4 cases, as long as its one exotic, one dog and one cat and the forth can pick an exotic, dog or cat.

students can also use their nursing care plans they use in their assignments as evidence, they just need to quote the assignment number as evidence and CC double checks it, obviously it wont cover all areas but helps gather the evidence alot quicker and easier!

Hi there, the student has to choose which four they would like to 'undertake' and the ones they don't the CC has an option to finish the task as 'student chooses not to undertake this skill' (the same option related to the equine tasks - if the student is doing the small animal pathway, they do not have to do the equine tasks for VN9 and VN10). Also I 'think' that the student has to demonstrate at least 4 different pathologies for that area, for example the reproductive task I would think a pyometra, tumours, polyps or uterine inertia etc would be examples?? Are you with the CAW? If so they have a website the VLE to help students and CC's and there's some helpful info on there at times regarding the NPL.
